Extending Your Exam Period
The option to extend your exam period after it has been booked will depend on the guidelines given by your exam board. You can access this information on their websites or use the contact us function if you wish to discuss this further with them.
If you are sitting an exam run by The Knowledge Academy and require an extension, you will need to get in contact with our exam booking team by raising a ticket on our tickets page. If you require an extension due to medical reasons you will need to provide us with a doctor's note.
Changing your exam date
The option of changing your exam date is different for each exam board. Please use the following as guidance:
- APMG Exams - Exam dates or times can be changed but will need to be done with at least 24-hours notice. Please go to https://apmg-international.com/our-services/exams for further information.
- APM Exams - Exam dates or times need to be changed a minimum of 5 working days before the exam will take place. You will need to complete an application form from APM. Please use their contact us function to get the application form.
- PeopleCert - In order to reschedule your exam, you must go on to your PeopleCert account, select the exam you wish to reschedule, and simply select ‘change date’. PeopleCert may charge for this change.
- The Open Group - To change your exam date you will need to cancel the examination through your account at Pearson VUE, and then register for another exam. Please note you need to cancel at least 48-hours in advance of the exam booking.
- BCS - If you need to change your exam date, you will only be able to move to the next available exam session. All requests must be made within 14-days of the date of your exam admission letter.
If you want to reschedule an exam run by The Knowledge Academy you will need to raise an exam ticket on our tickets page. Within that ticket, you can explain the reason for the exam date rescheduling. If this is due to medical reasons you will need to provide us with a doctor’s note.
